The Company
Rosengren Engineering (RGE) is a small company that provides highly specialized engineering services within the fields Functional Safety and Installations in Hazardous Areas.
Most countries have adopted the IEC 61508/IEC 61511 standards as basis for design, installation and operation of safety instrumented systems. We assist our clients in complying with these international standards.
RGE also provides service to manufacturers of machinery and assists with the preparation of EC Declaration of Conformity and Declaration of incorporation of partly completed machinery according to directive 2006/42/EC. RGE also has competences within risk assessment of machinery and organisation of technical files.
Furthermore RGE provides services related to the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC. We can prepare the explosion protection document and have core competences with in classification of hazardous areas according to EN 60079-10 and EN 61241-10. In addition we use IP15 as basis for the classification.
RGE cooperates with a number of other companies and individuals in a network structure, which gives RGE a large resource base and a broad range of skills. Through our partners, we are also able to offer various courses within our core areas.
